Joy Fenton Chapter 3

I woke up the next day to a smell of smoke from down stairs, I got up and walked down and saw Uncle Tucker burning pancakes.

"What are you doing?"

"Oh, making breakfast, I'm not that good at it."

"I can tell... Oh uncle Tucker can we go out shopping today?"

"Um...why?"

"Because tonight is the dance and everyone is coming can I go get a dress, not a really cheep one like my dad buys me but one that I would look nice in."

"Hmm."

"Please I can play for it." Pulls out wallet

"You took this from Danny didn't you?"

"Maybe, but he wont miss it."

"Fine but one thing... go have fun."

"Okay, after all I am going to fix my hair so it doesn't look like a rats nest when I go."

Tucker and I started to walk to the mall and look for dresses, he didnt really like to leave his house after he told me about the ghost attack that happened to him. I see this one dress that was perfect but one prob it didnt fit and there was no size my size. I was just to small. Every other store was sold out and I had no dress to wear. I look down sadly as Uncle Tucker saw I wasnt happy.

"I guess I'm not going to the dance..."

"Are you good at making clothes?"

"Sorta, why?"

"You can make a dress that will make everyone stop dancing and look at you."

"I can do that?"

"yep. Lets go make you a dress."

We went into a place that sold  the things I needed and bought dark blue and light blue cloth and bought some dark blue shoes. We got back to Tuckers house and I started to make my dress, it took all day to finish but it was worth it. I got in the dress and it fit perficly and I looked really good in it. I look in the merror and saw my hair a mess, I grab a hair brush and a hair straitener and started to work on my hair and make-up. By the time I was done I tamed my hair to where it was nice and wavy. Tucker called me down to see how I looked and how the outfit looked like. I walked out of the guest room and put my hand on the railing and walked down slowly, I stop and hear Tucker talking to other people. I walk down and a huge flash from a camara flashes in my eyes and I go blind for a bit. When I get my eye sight back I look and see my mom and dad right there smiling.

"What are you doing here, I never wanted to see you again!"

"Joy, its your dance and you look amazing. Tucker invited me and your father to come and take you to the dance."

"Mom, I'm fine I'm going to walk there on my own!" I storm out the door and slam the door behind me and started to walk to the dance. A car drives by and then goes reverence and stops next to me and then opened the door. A boy about a year older then me came out and he was wearing something fancy.

"Hey, Joy remember me Backster."

"Umm...."

"I was the big prankster on the day that Crush died."

"Dont remind me of that... YOU PUT THE BUCKET OVER MY HEAD!"

"I wanted to prank Moon and Crush."

"Well I got to go and meet Moon, I dont have time for you."

"Don't you want a ride to her house."

"I'm sorry but no I got to go." He looked at me as I walked away. I got to the school and looked at the school and walked to the back and leaned on a tree and looked at the moon as clouds covered it.

"I think something bad is going to happen." I sigh as I hear someone coming behind I look back and see no one, I face the moon again and see a boy I never saw before right in front of me.

"AHH!"

"AHH!" He jumped back as I hit the tree so hard I got a head ace. I look at him as his brown hair blew in the wind.

"I'm sorry miss I didn't see you."

"Its fine and my name isn't miss my name is Joy, whats yours."

"I'm Zack Masters."

"Nice name my last name is Fenton. Are you here for the dance?"

"Ya but I have no partner."

"Me neather."

"Well, you like to dance with me."

"Um... sure why not after all no one would like to dance with me."

"Well I am arent I."

"Good point." He takes my hand and pulls me close and starts to dance, he twirls me around. I felt free when we danced but his name seemed formilyer.

"I think I have heared your name before."

"really?"

"Yes your Vlad Master's kid, I was there for your mother's funiral."

"Oh your the girl that tried to cheer me up."

"Ya..."

"Well I think you look lovely tonight after all that dress is the same color of your eyes."

"Thanks I made the dress myself."

"Wow, that's what I like in a girl."

"Well, I'm not the dating type of girl you know."

"Do you think that or do others?"

"You know what lets go to the Nasty Burger I heared the food here sucks."

"Ya, I think I would like that." He takes my hand and we both walk to the Nasty Burger holding hands and he took me to the back to show me something. When he told me to open my eyes he was next to a man with white hair and wearing an odd outfit.

"Um.. who is this?"

"Joy this is my dad Vlad Master."

"Oh nice to meet you sir."

"Veary nice to meet you to Joy Fenton, did you know I know your father from a long time ago."

"Why no my dad never talks about you."

"Well thats no surprise but my son Zack is happy to meet you."

"I'm glad to meet him to but I got to go look at the time. Bye." I started to run back to Tuckers house when I see two ghosts fly in the sky and circle around me. They land infront forcing me to turn ghost.

"GOING GHOST!" My dress turns into my ghost outfit I use my powers to knock the older one to the floor and then the young one. I walk up to the young ghost and grab his coller to hos ghost outfit and lifted it to ask for some awnsers when the ghost boy turned into Zack.

"Zack..."

"Joy I can explain."

"JUST LIKE MY FAMILY HIDING SECRETS FROM ME!"

"Joy lisson!"

"NO I'M NOT GOING TO TALK TO YOU AND I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE AGAIN!" I fly off crying and went back to Tucker's house and turned human and ran to the guess room and slamed the door and cried my self to sleep. I hear someone come in and it was my mom.

"Joy? Are you awake?"

"I am now."

"Sorry to wake you but Tucker told me that you ran in here crying your eyes out."

"I'm fine mom just found out that the guy I just met and started to have a crush on him and then he turned into a ghost and so did his dad!"

"Wait who's his dad?"

"Some guy called Vlad Masters."

"VLAD! You may never talk to that boy again Joy."

"Dont worry mom I'm not because he also lied to me!"

"Joy... I'll give you time to calm down alright."

"Fine leave NOW!" She leaves the room and I lay in the bed and fall into a rough sleep.
